Tarte In Bloom Clay Palette

My dad's girlfriend recently went to Florida so I decided to take this opportunity to get her to pick me up a few beauty pieces. I've always had my eye on Tarte's eyeshadow palettes as you may have read in a previous wishlist, finding any opportunity to pin these to my beauty/wishlist boards on Pinterest.

Tarte - Tartlette In Bloom Clay Palette

Tarte - Tartlette In Bloom Clay Palette

I decided to pick up the Tartlette In Bloom Clay Palette because it contains 9 matte shadows and 3 shimmers. I thought this palette has such a variety of shades that you could use to create a simple day time or dramatic evening look. The packaging on the palette is to die for. It looks so pretty that it takes pride of place on my dressing table. I love that it has a huge mirror on the inside making it so easy to do my makeup.  The palette also comes with a little sheet of paper which suggests two different eyelooks to create, but I seem to have misplaced mine in the move.. oops.

One thing that I love the most about this palette is that even the nude shades are still pigmented. You only need a very small amount to create such pigmentation that it really is value for money. In comparison to some other palettes which I will be reviewing soon on my blog, these shadows have very little fall out and the texture of each shadow does not feel chalky at all. If I had to decide, I think my favourite shade in this palette has to be leader because I've always loved berry colours and this is so unique to any other shade I own.

Since this is the first product I've tried from Tarte, in all honesty I didn't know what to expect. However, I'm overwhelmed with the quality of this product that this would definitely be a brand I'd be likely to purchase again.
