Love Me Beauty Samples ft Makeup Forever & Benefit

In a previous post, I have mentioned the monthly subscription service Love Me Beauty, in case you missed my explanation I'll link the post and their site.

Over the past six months in my subscriptions, I've accumulated lots of sample products from the likes of Makeup Forever, Benefit and Kat Von D.

Excessive Lash Mascara
HD Powder
Artist Rouge Mat Lipstick

The mascara mini definitely isn't my favourite, I'm not really a fan of this style of the wand and it didn't really make my eyelashes look any better than a normal drugstore brand would. The powder surprised me by how finely milled it was; application didn't make my face seem cakey or cling to any dry patches but I'm not sure if I could make myself pay the price tag when I love my RMCA powder and it's much better value for money.

Goof Proof Brow Pencil
Ready Set Brow
Dew the Hoola

I'm over the moon with all of these benefit minis. The Goof Proof Brow pencil is so easy to use and the colour was a great match for my hair. I'm not too good at filling in my brows with pencil but it definitely helps to give an outline before I use powder/pomade. I had never tried a liquid bronzer before, so this concept was quite exciting. Dew the Hoola is a lovely warm toned bronzer; it gave a really nice finish and helped to warm up the face for a natural everyday look. Also, it applied really nicely with a beauty blender. This made the application super easy, so I didn't have to worry about it looking unnatural.
