SWATCHES | JUVIAS PLACE SAHARAN PALETTE

In case you didn't know, Juvias Place has recently come to the UK and is now stocked on Beauty Bay. I'm subscribed to Beauty Bay's newsletters and I'm an absolute sucker for the advertisements they send out by emails. I already own The Nubian eyeshadow palette and I was pretty sure that I didn't need to sign up to the waiting list because although I love this palette, I didn't think I needed another eyeshadow palette but boy was I wrong.

When the email arrived about the launch of Juvias Place, I thought oh what harm can it do to look which palettes they are stocking and suddenly I had the Saharan palette in my basket and mid way through the checkout process. I was incredibly surprised with the pricing of the palettes - I honestly thought they would be so much more! The Saharan palette was £28 for 12 shades which makes each shadow about £2.33.

99% of shades in this palette I was instantly in love with because I'm such a warm toned eyeshadow wearing. The golden/yellow (Wodaabe), the black (Chad) and the metallic green (Kia) were my only hesitations as I wasn't sure when I would use these colours - although I really do want to get into wearing green more often even with a warm toned look!

The pigmentation of the palette is to die for, none of the shades are 'dud' colours whether they're matte or metallic finishes. The formula of the shadows are quite smooth to considering you could be lead to believe the metallics look a little on the chunky side. After purchasing my second Juvias Place palette I don't think I need any more convincing, I am converted! If you haven't tried their eyeshadows yet, I 100% recommend them. I honestly think you do get really good value for money within this palette as I love this formula more than my makeup geek pans!

  2. I've seen this palette around on Instagram and I'm always so impressed with the pigmentation! That's so rare to find a palette where every single shade packs a punch!
