CHRISTMAS | TOP BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDARS

Honestly, the countdown to Christmas is one of the most enjoyable parts of the year. I love following traditions, getting into the festive spirit, hot chocolates with mini marshmallows. I'm such a big fan of the Christmas season and one thing I really enjoy is opening an advent calendar every day - even more so when it's full of beauty goodies.

I know there are loads of these posts going around, but I thought in case anyone hasn't seen any yet or if you wanted to know which advent calendars have appealed to me this year then here you go. I'm going to try and create a few Christmas related posts this year so if there is anything you would like to see, just let me know!

Makeup Revolution Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

Makeup Revolution has launched a very affordable 24-day advent calendar which includes a lot of their makeup and beauty tools. It is available to buy now from the Tam Beauty website. The packaging is beauty and sleek with black and rose gold details. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the website telling you about how much the content inside the advent calendar is worth.

Soap and Glory 2017 Advent Calendar | The Beauty is a Beast
Now, I feel like this is the first time I've seen a Soap and Glory advent calendar, but I couldn't say for certain as this year is the year of discovering my love for the brand. Their advent calendar is available to buy from Boots (although at the time of writing, is currently out of stock online) and features a range of skincare and beauty products! A full breakdown of what products are included can be found on the Boots website.

3. QVC - £40
QVC - Tili Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

We all know how much I loved the Tili subscription box so you can imagine my happiness when I discovered they are bringing out a 24-day advent calendar. This will be available to purchase from the 23rd October and features brands like Pixi Beauty, Becca Cosmetics and Tarte. We potentially have a winner for my favourite here!

The Body Shop Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

The Body Shop offers three kinds of advent calendars which range in price depending on what you would like to spend. If you purchase the £44 calendar, the content inside is worth £88 - this is a 24-day advent calendar. However, you can also purchase two 25-day advent calendars the first is £65 with the total being worth £116 or the second is £99 with a grand total of £214. The difference is down to the type of products included within the box and the proportion of full-sized items. These boxes include a mix of skincare and beauty products.
And if you really want to treat yourself, you can buy a countdown to New Years calendar too!

Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

Amazon is never somewhere I would usually end up going to for beauty products, but this year they have created their own beauty 24-day advent calendar featuring brands like Essie, Laura Gellar and more. According to the website, the content of the calendar is worth £185!

6. Ciate - £50

This is the first beauty advent calendar I ever got and is a perfect gift for nail polish lovers. Ciate will be launching this calendar sometime within October, although a set date is not known yet. The calendar is full of mini polishes, nail art and nail care items.

Another advent calendar I have had the pleasure of trying out - You Beauty has launched a 24-day calendar worth over £230! This advent calendar has a mix of makeup, skincare and nail products including brands like The White Company, Nip & Fab, Leighton Denny and more!

Liz Earle Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

For skincare fans, Liz Earle has launched a 12-day advent calendar featuring all their best skincare products. This can be purchased from John Lewis and on the website, it will provide a rundown of whats included along with the size of each product so you can tell how good value this calendar is. This is such a treat for all you lovers of the Hot Cloth Polish cleanser!

BirchBox Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

If you already have a subscription to BirchBox, then you can pick this advent calendar up for £65 - although it is currently sold out online. For the first time, BirchBox is releasing their own advent calendar. This is a 24-day calendar which features brands such as Benefit, Eyeko and Nuxe.

Look Fantastic Beauty Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

Look Fantastic are one of the only brands where they don't show you what products come within the advent calendar and I think it's this mystery which draws me to it. I received this advent calendar last year and I loved it! You can check out my videos on my Instagram of me opening it every day. The contents inside is worth over £300 so it's an absolute bargain and you're always guaranteed at least some exclusive item!

Essie Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

If you act quickly, this advent calendar is currently on sale for £50 in Superdrug (at the time of writing this post). It makes me happy that more nail polish brands are also releasing their own advent calendars as it means there is a lot more choice out there. This 24-day calendar includes a mix of mini polishes, full-size products and nail care. You will also receive 5 shades exclusive to the calendar!

14. Kiehls - £110

Kiehl's Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

I'm such a fan of Kiehl's skincare that I think this advent calendar is definitely worth the price. It is being released on the 19th October exclusively to Selfridges. This 24-day advent calendar features some of their cult favourites like the daily reviving concentrate, the midnight recovery concentrate and more!

Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

This 24-day advent calendar from Selfridges features skincare, fragrances and makeup! The idea behind this advent calendar is it all contains brands which are owned by the same company. It includes the likes of Urban Decay, Kiehls, Lancome and more! If you're a high-end gal, this is definitely for you.

John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar 2017 | The Beauty is a Beast

The John Lewis Beauty Advent calendar contains over £300 of products, mainly all from high-end brands such as Nars, Benefit, Laura Mercier and more! It contains a mix of full-size and sample size products with a selection of makeup and skincare.

I know this is quite an expensive advent calendar but the content of this calendar is worth over £500! It's launching on the 25th October if you want to get your hands on it (ngl, I'm so tempted) and contains 15 full-sized product. You will see brands such as Diptyque, Sol De Janerio and more. The hype around this advent calendar is pretty big.

Let me know which advent calendar you get this year!

  1. I absolutely love the look of that QVC one, I think it might be my favourite! I would love to get my hands on the Liberty London one but I think it might be a little out of my price range!!

  2. I've never actually had a beauty advent calendar, I've always wanted to try one though but they can be so expensive! I think The Body Shop, QVC and Essie ones definitely look like some of the best and aren't too expensive too! I'm so tempted!
