Many things have changed since I started to blog, especially my make up
routine! I'm now more willing to spend money on make up so therefore it's
changed quite drastically. I just thought I'd give a little update on my fave
make up, even if it's now added 20 minutes onto my morning routine!
Micellar Water
I don't really know how I've survived so long without this. It really does
leave your skin feeling so clean. All brands are the pretty much the same retailing
at about £4 per bottle. You get plenty of use out of a bottle too, so it is
great value for money! Trust me, just try it.
Moisturizer
For moisturizer I use L'Oreal Skin Perfection Advanced Correcting Serum (Boots
£16.99-is currently on offer at £11.33). This can be used day and night and
is perfect for making pores less visible. I have also tried other creams from
the Skin Perfection range and really I have no complaints. This is definitely a
must.
CC Cream/ Nude Magique Blur Cream
So once again, I've stuck with L'Oreal, as I have no found another brand
that gives me the same results. They both retail at Boots for £9.99 and usually
they have 3 for 2 offers on, so you can treat yourself to something for free as
well! I use the CC Nude Magique Anti-Redness cream as I get a super rosy face
and this is perfect at concealing me for a full day. The Blur Cream is also
great for covering pores.
Foundation Primer
Now I never would have thought to try foundation primer, based on the face
I didn't have a clue what it would be good for. When I bought Glamour’s
Beauty Power List 2014, Laura Merceir Foundation Primer came with it, so I thought it would be best to
give it a try, I absolutely love it! It saves me from having to top up my make
up several times a day, the only down fall is it is slightly on the expensive
side! (John Lewis-£29.00 for 50ml-- That's really not too bad)
Foundation
I use a simply Max Factor "colour adapt" foundation, which is a
cross between and cream and liquid so it is not too runny. My Nanna, believe it
or not, actually recommended this to me! It gives me the perfect coverage I
need, and at a reasonable price too. It would take a lot for me to change
foundation now. This retails at £9.99 in Boots.
Concealer
I love my Max Factor Pan Stik, I use ‘Nouveau
Beige’. I find this concealer much longer lasting than others that I have tried
and it matches really well with my foundation. I love the coverage that it
gives and it is such a reasonable price. (Boots-£6.99)
Matte Powder
Now this powder is a life saver. Whether your foundation is too runny, or
it is warm outside and anything in between, this is your answer. It basically
does what it says on the tin. Keeps your face looking matte, definitely a must
have this summer. I use Rimmel Stay Matte but if you have a favourite brand
I'm sure they will have something similar too. (Boots-£3.99)
Eye Brow Palette
I bought this on a whim when trying a new brand Make Up Revolution, and
really it has changed my life. It has three different shades so it is suitable
for most and then a 'wax' to keep them set in place. For only £2.50 there is no
excuse not to have this. Luckily Super Drug now stock Make Up Revolution so you
don't need to faff around with ordering neither!
Mascara
This is probably my favourite out of my entire make up collection, because
in fact mascara makes so much more of a difference. I use Bourjios Paris Twist
Up the Volume. It has two 'settings' length or volume. The brush is great and
application is so easy. Really the difference from normal mascara speaks for
itself. (Boots-£10.99)
Now last but not least
Lipsticks
There is no way I can pick my favourite lipstick as it totally depends on
the situation so I thought I'd just do a swatch of some of my favourites.

winter chapped lips! It definitely is an essential that everyone should carry
in their bag.

Powder, Eyes) and No.7 (Eyebrow,Bronzer).
So that's my routine, what's yours?
