Make Up Revolution

Make-Up Revolution is a new and upcoming make up brand that have recently starting retailing in SuperDrug stores all over the country. They literally have products retailing from £1, absolute bargain! Some of you may have already seen on of my earlier posts about the company as I have ordered from the website before, and just recently decided to treat myself again. Lately my obsession has been eye shadow so I decided to place an order of reasonably cheap eye products to try and help me practise eye makeup.

1. Highlighting Palette £8
2. Iconic 2 Palette £4
3. Mocha Eye Shadow £1
4. Base Eye Shadow £1
5. Rose Gold Awesome Metals Foil Finish £5
6.  Pure Pigments £1

Highlighter Palette

I love the thought of highlighting and when I saw the colours on this palette I couldn’t resist. The palette features the fantastic colours, Peach Lights, Pink Lights and Golden Lights(respectively); however they do have another set of three highlighter colours I just preferred this one. Now I just need to learn the trick, if anyone has any tips please let me know. Today I bought ‘The Glam Guide by Fleur De Force’ from Waterstones, which features a highlighting/contouring guide so I bet this will be super useful!

Iconic 2 Palette
A few of my faves from the palette

I already have purchased the Iconic 3 Palette and I absolutely love it. It has been compared many times to other similar smoked/nude eye shadow palettes such as Naked, but for a fraction of the price! I thought this was an amazing offer considering the range of colours you get, there’s so many different styles you can try. I definitely recommend this product for anyone starting out or who wants a ‘high street’ version.

Eye Shadows

I purchased these colours in particular because the light ‘Base’ is perfect for being a base, however this is only if you’re building up on darker colours. Since it is so pigmented it is hard to build up light colours on this base. The ‘Mocha’ I decided would be perfect to go with shimmer colours and even more suitable for a non traditional smoky eye effect.

Awesome Metals

I pretty much fell in love with this product as soon as I saw it, before I even knew what it would be like. I am a sucker for rose gold and this was no exception. It comes with its own primer and mixing tray as it's more of a crème than a powder. The colour is amazing and I can't wait to use it. Perfect for a night out!

Eye Dust

Since seeing this sort of product in various brands such as MAC, and I love the idea. Pure pigments, yes it is! This product is fantastic, it also has a filter on top so you only get a little bit at once, perfect so there's less waste!
