1. Max Factor Colour Adapt- 70 Natural | £9.99
2. L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte - 13 Rose Beige | £7.99
3. L'Oreal True Match R2 C2 - Rose Vanilla | £9.99
4. Borjouis 123 Perfect - No53 Light Beige | £10.99
Successful Foundations
1. No7 Beautifully Matte - Deeply Ivory | £13.50
2. Estee Lauder Double Wear - Pale Almond | £30
I'm at peace with having No7 foundation because it isn't too pricey at £13.50 a bottle because it meets all the points on my checklist for the perfect foundation - plus Boots regularly gives away vouchers for a discount on makeup for No7. However, Estee Lauder I just didn't want to like because of the £30 price tag that comes with it. If you ask the majority of people to recommend a foundation they will suggest Estee Lauder Double Wear and even though I was sceptical, I must say I completely see why. I picked this up at the airport, which meant it was cheaper but it's still going to break my heart when I replace it. Both of these foundations are good with matching my skin tone (No7 actually do a skin match if you aren't too sure what shade to get), they are long lasting I usually get through a full day without noticing any deterioration in quality and lastly it gives me the coverage that I want. I'm pretty sure my foundation routine will not change for the foreseeable future because they actually do what they claim to do. I guess sometimes price is very reflexive of quality!
