Camomile Silky Cleansing Extract | 200 ml | £10
Skin defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF50 | 40ml | £16
Vitamin C Glow Protect Lotion | 50ml | £14
I pretty much got the recommendations for what to try from YouTubers such as Emma'sRectangle and HannahRenee. Lately, the body shop has become incredibly popular amongst the beauty world, especially with their current makeup releases, so it was also another huge reason to try out their products.
The Body Shop had a 3 for 2 offer on products as well, which is always a plus. However, I think it's quite a regular occurrence that they have deals on similar to 3 for 2.
I'm loving the cleansing oil more that I thought I would. I find it does a really nice job of taking my makeup off. Because it's oil, it means you have to clean your face twice to remove the rest of the oil, but it means your face is left incredibly clean! I also find it's really good for stubborn mascara, and I can imagine it works wonders for eyeliner too.
I also picked up the skin defence protection with SPF50, I've really found this easy to slip into my routine, I apply it every day before I pop my primer on and then I always feel really happy to know my skin is protected. I can imagine this is going to my favourite product to take when I travel. It's difficult to know how much this product has helped over a short space of time. I can imagine I'll have a better conclusion when the weather gets a little warmer.
Lastly, I picked up a Vitamin C Glow Protect Lotion because it was recommended to use a base before primer for dry skin. I've been struggling with a few dry patches and it can really be seen with most of my foundation, so I couldn't say no to picking this up. I really don't like the smell of this product and I never find myself reaching for this product. It's just not my favourite at all.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the products I've picked up so far. I'd definitely be happy to pick up more skin products from The Body Shop in future. Feel free to leave some recommendations/favourite products for this newbie!
