Initial disclaimer: I don't own the KVD shade and light palette and I'm just presenting an alternative for those who cannot or do not want to splurge on the real thing palette.

This beautiful palette comes from the makers of Makeup Revolution, part of TAM Beauty. I've wanted this warm-toned palette for almost the longest time, but I rarely get into Superdrug and it was sold out online for ages, but eventually, I managed to get my hands on it.

Kat Von D Dupe - Makeup Revolution Ultra Eye Contour Palette

Makeup Revolution Ultra Eye Contour Light and Shade | £8

This palette looks incredibly familiar to the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette, but for a fraction of the price. This palette retails for £8. Unfortunately, since I don't own the KVD palette I can't 100% say this is a dupe, but it can be taken as a cheaper alternative. The palette contains 12 different matte shades with a nice blue cool toned shadow.

I have to say I'm incredibly surprised by this palette. I had started to go off MUR shadows because the quality just wasn't there and I would rather spend money on better shadows, however, I couldn't stop thinking how much I wanted to pick up this palette. I love the pigmentation of the palette and how easy the shades are to blend. Some of the pale colours do not show up on my skin tone but may make the most perfect transition shades for people who have paler skin than I do.

This is a perfect everyday look palette, and could even be used to create a warm smokey eye for a night time look. I was surprised that a completely matte palette would catch my eye but it's definitely up there in my favourites now alongside the likes of my Urban Decay Naked Basics, or ABH Modern Renaissance.
