Liquid lipsticks are probably one of my most favourite makeup products, although I rarely splurge on them. So, when I was making a Cult Beauty order, these accidentally fell in my basket and I thought this would be a great time to try out Huda Beauty liquid lipsticks. Buying an edition like this meant I got to try out four different colours for £33 so it helped give me an overall idea if I like their liquid lipsticks and what the formula is like.
Huda Beauty makes four sets of the liquid matte mini's: The Pink Edition, The Brown Edition, The Nude Edition and The Red Edition. To be honest, the choice between the four were really difficult but I went with the pinks as this is what I would get the most wear out of on a daily basis.
Each mini is only 1.4g of product which means overall these are quite expensive for the four of them! A standard Huda Beauty liquid lipstick is 5ml and costs £18.
So in the pink edition, you receive four shades: Gossip Gurl, Trophy Wife, Icon and Socialite. I absolutely love the shade names, especially Gossip Gurl because it's one of my fave programs. All the shades expect Socialite are just normal matte liquid lipsticks, whereas Socialite is a metallic shade so it adds something a little different to the collection!
The collections were designed so that they could either be worn alone or mix and match creating the perfect ombre lip. With this collection, they definitely got this right because the colours are so complimentary of each other.
Top to Bottom: Socialite, Icon, Trophy Wife, Gossip Gurl
I've found it really hard to pick my favourite shade from this edition, however, I don't find myself often reaching for Socialite, it's still nice to have it in my collection. This definitely seems to be my favourite formula of liquid lipstick - it is literally so long wearing, it's transfer proof, lasts through eating and everything! Even though it is pricey, they are so worth the price tag!
