I did enjoy writing my favourites post for June, but I didn't post one for July as I kind of stuck to using the same products as I was on holiday. I'm not sure if this is going to be a regular occurrence but I'm going to try and keep them on a monthly basis if I remember!

There have been a few bits of skin care that I've been loving this month which is such a surprise because I'm so awful at remembering to use skin care. The Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads are great to help give your skin a quick perk before applying makeup to help avoid my skin looking tired. I'm looking forward to seeing if all of the claims are correct once I start using these on a daily basis.

Another skin care item that I've been loving this month is the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser. I picked this up in July after KathleenLights raved about how good it was a primer when she needed her makeup to last all day and I have to agree with her. I love how moisturising it is, yet it still so tacky that makeup does not budge all day!

If you haven't tried Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream yet, I urge you do to so. This smells so amazing, I love moisturising my arms and legs before I go to sleep because it's just so nice to use. Although it is slightly expensive so I use it sparingly which means I can't tell if it has a 'lift' formula.

I do have quite a few makeup faves for August but most of them are newbies that I'm still currently testing so I decided it's too soon to add them to the list. My favourite base makeup this month is the pairing of the EX1 Cosmetics Invisiwear Liquid Foundation with the Maybelline Age Rewind Eye Concealer. I've used this combo so much this month as I'm still tanned from my holiday so this shade is perfect for me. This ends up looking so flawless with a medium/full coverage. If you haven't tried out these yet you need to pick them up.

I've recently fallen back in love with Colourpop Super Shock Eye Shadows; since getting the pressed powders these shadows tended to get neglected in my collection but lately, I'm always reaching for them. The shades Elixir, Summer Side and Bandit come together to make a very quick everyday eye look with minimal effort.

You may have seen in my August Subscription Box post featuring Roccabox that I received a sample of the Smashbox Liquid Lipstick in Drivers Seat. Since testing this, I can't stop wearing it! This warm pink lipstick is one of my go to colours that is so flattering for my skin tone. The wear time of the product also really impressed me and the formula is so comfortable to wear.
