I honestly swear life is so much better and bearable when you have a tan, whether that be real or false.
Now I'm pretty much set in my way with my tanning products but once and a while, I do like to step out my comfort zone and give some new products a try.
So when I was browsing ELF's website and happened to come across the Sunkissed Booster drops. On the website, it says the booster drops can be used alone or mixed with your foundation, any liquids or creams to give a lasting golden tone within 2-3 days.

I really wanted to love this product, it sounded amazing. I have tried a few different facial tanners with not much luck so I did have a lot of high hopes for the drops. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed with this product. It's probably worth noting, that this product has a 3-star rating on the website.

On first thoughts, I absolutely love the style of the bottle. I think it's super important to make sure skincare products are in suitable packaging. It also has a tacky finish which made my base makeup long lasting and blended really well on top of it - so it acted as a pretty good primer. The pipette was super easy to control so it didn't create too much waste.

Unfortunately, this product just did absolutely nothing for me. I applied it directly on to my face daily, hoping it would build up and create a tanned base which would match my false tan. But it literally made no change to my skin. A lot of the reviews also seem to match my thoughts on the drops, yet there was also a handful of reviews from people who loved the product too!
For the price, I'd suggest it's a little risky to pick this up the full price if you're not sure it's going to work for your skin, but it is pretty affordable as a primer!

Do you know any similar tanner drops which work well?
