Lately, I have been lusting over a lot of beauty products, but surprisingly - it's not actual makeup. In a strange turn of events, all of the items I've been pining for most revolve around skincare and creating the perfect base.  If you've read some of my previous posts, you might remember me saying I've never really been into skincare much, so this pretty much came as big shocker to me too.
I'm not sure what it is about the current makeup releases, but nothing has had me excited for a while now and I can't remember the last time I just needed to have something or was suckered in by those new in Beauty Bay emails.

I know this is over the top, but I currently have three different Moisturisers on my wishlist. The first one I have been pining over is Glam Glow 'Waterburst' Hydrating Glow Moisturiser £39 after I saw Rachel Leary raving over it on her Instagram story. I've been really into moving away from Matte products as I'm sick of my skin looking dull and tired. However, since the price tag is pretty hefty, I spotted a potential dupe from the drugstore - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser £12.99 but keep an eye out for it going on offer. I know both would be unnecessary but it would be interesting to see how the two compared.

The last moisturiser I've had my eye on is the Glow Juice Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser £35 because again, it's all about providing hydrated skin but does not contain oils (it's perfect for you oily skin gals!). I love that it has multiple benefits of using it because it means you'd be more likely to continue using it and seeing a greater impact of it on your skin. Another product on my wishlist due to another YouTuber is the Origins Original Skin Cooling Finishing Primer £26 because I love the fact it's both hydrating and pore refining at the same time. This feels like the perfect product for me and it's been a while since I fell in love with a new primer so I have pretty high hopes for it.

Another one of my problem areas is blemishes. It seems to be few and far between but when they land, they come with a vengeance and usually in a group. I've always been really impressed with Nip and Fab skincare, so when I saw they had a 'Teen Skin Fix' range which is all about aiming to clear your skin I knew I had to add it to my list. The things which peaked my interest were the Nip and Fab Teen Skin Fix Spot Zap £7.99 and the Nip and Fab Teen Skin Fix Blaster Wash Day £6.99.

The last base product I've been lusting over is all about giving your skin that dewy glow. Recently, I have been loving applying my Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate underneath my foundation which is why I decided I need to expand out my collection and I'd love to try the INC.credible Brighten Up Gold Getter £10 which are brightening oil drops which leave your skin with a 'dewy, youthful glow'.

What's your ride or die base products which need to be on my list?#
