FAVES | AUGUST 2018

I haven't done a favourites post since the start of 2018. Literally, this is so crazy I don't know how this happened. But its safe to say I've tried a fair few new bits since then and I thought I'd share an update with you guys.
Beauty Favourites | August 2018 | The Beauty is a Beast

Firstly, I've been reaching for the Maybelline Super Stay Foundation all the time. I really love how nice the foundation sits on my skin, and it lasts a full day at work which is more than I can say for others in my collection. Even though it's a full coverage foundation, you can still get a dewy finish and I know it's even suitable for you oily gals too.

Carrying on the Maybelline hype, another product I've been raving about to anyone who will listen is the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Longlasting Gel Tint. I've had this in my collection for a while now and it's a product I've tended to shy away from, but actually, it's super easy to use for a beginner and helps for quick brows on an everyday basis.

The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Moisturiser is a firm favourite, I've nearly used it all and I would definitely repurchase it. It's a lovely hydrating base for my makeup application and also, it seems to be a nice drugstore alternative to the GlamGlow Waterburst Moisturiser, always helping you save them pennies.

I have to give a special mention to the Revolution Re-Loaded Palette in the Shade Velvet Rose - it's only £4 and I've used it for pretty much every eye look, for the last 3 weeks. with. Between the browns, purples, and oranges I can pretty much get a look to go with every outfit. In the past, I haven't been a huge fan of revolution palettes and I've found the shimmers to be much better of the mattes. But I think since the rebrand, they have really changed their game. My only issue with the palette is that I find the shimmery shades to be rubbish, so I tend to dip into another palette or use a pigment to add the shimmer but for £4, I can't complain.

Lip liners are a rare product to be featured on my blog. Mainly because I always forget to use them, but also because it's never really my priority to invest my money in. After seeing so many people rave about them, I decided to treat myself to the Morphe Lip Liners in Backseat Love, Honeymoon and Foolish. I picked three pretty neutral shades which would go with the majority of my lip products and I absolutely love the formula. They glide on so nicely, I don't find them to drag at all and they blend pretty easily into other products. They're amazing for the price tag too!

What was your favourite product of the month?
